The Arran Manual Riser Chair is a strong solid timber framed manual seat lift chair assisting the rising and lowering of the user gently into the seat.The Arran high back manual riser chair comes with medium sized wings as a standard. This safe and controlled action chair has three pressure pistons: low (up to 9st), medium which is fitted as standard (9-12st), strong (over 12st) and other pressure pistons available to special order.
The Arran includes a riser handle extension in the seat to assist rising and lowering the user into the seat (standard extension is on the right of the seat but it may be fitted on the left to special order). In addition the user can opt to have a handle extension which may be retrospectively fitted to facilitate operation of a locking device at an extra cost.
It comes with fitted medium lumbar and neck support as a standard but this can be improved to having extra support at an extra cost. This Arran is also available with a king size seat or the seat depth, height and back height can be customised to the user’s specific measurements. To improve comfort even more it can be fitted with pressure reducing visco-elastic foam in the seat as an optional extra.
